Triumph nightmares.

Trying to get Chuckys engine out of his frame proved a nightmare, so we decided to take the rocker covers off, this is what we found....
The "expert machinist" he engaged to make his valves decided to make them out of cheese, not sure why he used cheese, he just did.
No surprise that the valve clearances were being adjusted every 20km's, engine has been run for about 200 odd km's, now it's rebuild number 3.....we'll be doing it properly this time!!
Cheers all.

V Star/Drag Star with S.U. Carb fitted by us.

Just taken all the downdraught carb nonsense off a 650 V Star and put an inch and a quarter S.U. on it.
Made the manifold out of 2 Evo manifolds, cut and shut, insides welded and sanded back.
Fired up straight away, idles beautifully.
Just need to sort the throttle position sensor and she'll be sorted.
Runs ok and rides well enough, just a bit of a flat spot to iron out, sounds great with the fishtails on.

Cheers

Triumph Hardtail

We're selling these Triumph Hardtails for AU$700.00.
Made in Australia by us using seamless tubing by us you can be sure they're straighter than a straight thing, and as strong as a really strong thing!
So don't go sending your money to the States, keep it in Oz, keeping us, the steel suppliers and the plasma cutting bloke in jobs.
Please note this is seamless tube, not an inferior ERW tube.
These Hardtails come without the guard brackets, seat spring mounts and torque arm bracket that are shown here.
We make these to order on our purpose built Jig.

V Star

Made these 1 1/4" bars and a new exhausts for this V Star last year.
All one off, seamless bars, tigged and powder coated.

VN800

Just made a 2 in to 1 with a turn out on this VN800, and fitted apes to it.
These bikes have so much potential for customising, there's not too many around but i'd have one for sure.
With the apes it rode like a completely different bike, sounded great too.
